OK so its not a good idea to root the device but I would really like to have play store on my Maxisys so could support log on remotely to my device and add play store so I can get my scope app installed please?

 The MS908P has a low numerical Android operating system that most current Apps on play store won't run on without crashing system. Your MS908P should have the Maxi Scope App already on it to run a MP408 Maxi scope from , but a Windows laptop might be a better choice to run the MP408 scope off of due to the extra current demand on a aging lith ion battery of your MS908P that might cause issues without having to attach it's charger to stabilize voltage. 

Mine has that app. And I just updated it, and that took a very long time. But now work
okay. Slow and it tends to reboot when flashing, even with an ext power.

I would root y unit just to get the M off the del button.
